In 2014, Honda de México SA de CV announced it would begin construction of a 5.66 million square meter plant in Mexico to manufacture subcompact vehicles for the North American market. With a projected production of 200,000 units per year and an estimated 3,200 employees, the company installed 13 duplex grinder pump stations around the facility to handle all wastewater discharged from the plant. Each pump station contains two Zoeller grinder pumps, which will provide high flow rates and superior cutting action to suit the harsh environment of the manufacturing building. The pumps are also installed on Zoeller Z-Rail systems, allowing for easy disconnection and removal for regular maintenance and inspection.
